Based at Ron Brooks Ilkeston. With occasional Hybrid working across multi-site company (Derby, Nottingham, Leicester)

From 27,000.00 Pro-rata based on hours and experience

The Opportunity



We are looking for a reliable and approachable HR & Payroll Assistant to join our team on a part-time basis You will have strong administration and organisational background and be able to demonstrate an attention to detail. Having a collaborative approach to working and the ability to prioritise a busy and diverse workload are essential in this role. Great verbal and written communication skills ensure that we serve all our customers with a first-class service. You understand the need for diplomacy and confidentiality. Key Responsibilities



To provide support with the day-to-day HR and Payroll administrative tasks. Assist with recruitment processes, including advertising roles and onboarding new starters. Prepare induction packs and coordinate induction schedules. Maintain accurate and up-to-date personnel records in line with GDPR requirements. Provide administrative support for training and development activities. Assist with payroll-related tasks including checking staff holiday & attendance Support ad hoc HR, Finance projects and initiatives. Ensure confidentiality and integrity in handling sensitive employee information.

What We're Looking For



Previous experience in a HR and Finance administrative role Generalist knowledge of GDPR and its application in administration. Strong attention to detail and excellent organizational skills. Friendly and professional communication style, with the ability to engage with people at all levels. Proficient in Microsoft Office, particularly Word and Excel (intermediate level). Ability to manage multiple tasks and prioritize effectively in a busy environment. A positive, can-do attitude and a willingness to learn.

Desirable but not Essential



Have HR or Financial qualifications Hold a full driving licence and be willing to occasionally work across all East Midland sites as required.
