Where will you be working?
At M Group Rail & Aviation, we're dedicated to ensuring the safe, efficient, and seamless movement of people and goods across some of the most vital transportation sectors in the UK rail, aviation, defence, and adjacent markets. Our expertise spans these industries, where we maintain, and upgrade critical infrastructure - leading the way in shaping the future of transport.
You'll be working across Rail, Aviation, Defence & Adjacent Markets. You'll visit major international airports, see our wide range of specialist rail engineering projects across the UK and be involved in the maintenance and upgrades of defence properties, airfields, military bases, ports, railway infrastructure and depots.

Are you an experienced HR professional looking for a new project? You will be engaged to support a project focused on the development and refinement of job descriptions, effective liaison Programme People Lead and change leads, and the definition of accurate and consistent role titles throughout the organisation. The role will involve collaborating closely with stakeholders to ensure clarity and alignment of responsibilities, and to support organisational needs.
What will you be doing?

  • Drafting and revising job descriptions in consultation with relevant managers
  • Liaising with managers to gather role-specific information and feedback
  • Ensuring job descriptions reflect current organisational needs and standards
  • Defining and standardising role titles across departments
  • Providing guidance on best practices for job documentation and role profiling
What you'll bring
  • Proven experience in HR, particularly in job design and organisational development
  • Excellent written and verbal communication skills
  • Ability to build effective working relationships with managers and stakeholders
  • Strong attention to detail and analytical skills
  • Competence in project management and meeting deadlines
