Streetz Ahead Creative Housing is a passionate and established organisation supporting Children, Young People, and Vulnerable Adults across the Keynsham area. We are committed to supporting young people in care to develop independence, confidence, and essential life skills. Our services support individuals who may display challenging behaviours as a result of trauma, and we are looking for staff who can see the young person behind the behaviour.

We are seeking a Recruitment Officer who is proactive, organised, and dedicated to attracting high-quality candidates who share our values and commitment to making a positive impact and leads safer recruitment processes

Role Overview



The Recruitment Officer will lead recruitment, identifying, attracting, and selecting top talent. You will support our organisation's growth by ensuring we recruit candidates who demonstrate the professionalism, resilience, and compassion needed to work within our services.

Key Responsibilities



Candidate Sourcing & Outreach



create captivating job adverts, social media, networking, and professional platforms to source potential candidates. Engage prospective applicants and promote opportunities within our organisation.

Screening & Selection



Review applications to assess suitability in line with safer recruitment. Conduct initial phone interviews to evaluate skills, experience, and cultural fit.

Interview Coordination



Schedule and coordinate interviews with hiring managers. Ensure a positive, professional candidate experience.

Assessment & Evaluation



Administer and interpret relevant assessments or screening tools. Provide informed recommendations to hiring managers.

Employer Branding



Develop job adverts and materials that reflect our mission and values. Support initiatives that strengthen our employee retention strategies

Compliance & Administration



Maintain accurate candidate records in line with legal and regulatory requirements. Ensure recruitment processes adhere to safer recruitment and GDPR standards.

Collaboration & Reporting



Work closely with managers to understand staffing needs. Provide regular updates on recruitment activity and progress.

Qualifications & Skills



Education or training in Recruitment, HR, Business Administration, or related field (HR certification desirable CIPD). Minimum 1 year of recruitment or HR experience. Proficient in safer recruitment. Strong written and verbal communication skills. Skilled in structured interviewing and candidate assessment. Excellent organisational and time-management abilities. Ability to negotiate effectively and maintain confidentiality. Team-focused, adaptable, and able to manage changing priorities. Knowledge of GDPR and commitment to safeguarding practices.

Job Type: Part-time

Pay: 14.42-15.42 per hour

Expected hours: 25 per week
