We are seeking an enthusiastic and driven individual to join our HR team as an

HR & Recruitment Assistant

on a

9 month fixed term contract (maternity cover)

. In this role, you will support department within the Winn Group with their recruitment needs and assist the wider HR team in delivering a range of HR services.

Responsibilities



As a

HR & Recruitment Assistant

, you will be responsible for providing recruitment and resourcing support to the Winn Group. Source candidates using a variety of methods with a focus on social media, online job boards and networking. Support Department Heads/Managers with the interview process, ensuring feedback is provided to unsuccessful candidates Carry out group inductions to support the onboarding process. Provide practical advice and guidance to managers and employees in relation to policies and procedures in line with current legislation. Provide advice and guidance to managers in respect to managing absences Ensure HR helpdesk queries are dealt with in a timely manner. To provide support with tasks in the absence of the team.

Skills and Experience



CIPD Qualified minimum Level 3 or equivalent experience Experience of Recruitment and Onboarding Confident in working with stakeholders at all levels within the business Strong time management and organisational skills. Confidential, discreet and diplomatic approach Ability to work towards shared goals and objectives Experience of demonstrating effective teamworking within a commercial environment Cooperative and flexible approach Ability to identify where problems may arise and adopt a solutions -focused approach Demonstrate effective communication and good interpersonal skills IT literate Commitment to own personal development

Competitive Salary

: 14.24 per hour based on 40 hours per week

Working Hours



This role is Full Time based on 40 Hours per week (35 or 37.5 hour working weeks will be considered). We are also fully office based in Byker, Newcastle.
