Salary Range: 27,000-32,500 per annum, depending on experience
Reporting to the HR Manager, you will be responsible for co-ordinating the School's end to end recruitment processes. Responsibilities will include creating high quality job adverts and role profiles; utilising appropriate social media channels to advertise, search and directly source potential candidates; co-ordinate and participate in selection procedures; and maintain a high quality administrative function that drives the candidate experience. Working closely with a small HR team and hiring managers of academic, pastoral and operational roles, you will deliver a seamless recruitment service and provide advice regarding best practice and recruitment related employment law, presenting practical solutions and options in relation to hiring needs.
Main responsibilities:
Creating impactful adverts and job descriptions.
Utilising social media channels to advertise and directly source candidates.
Co-ordinating engaging selection procedures.
Maintaining a high-quality administrative function that drives the candidate experience.
Working closely with hiring managers of academic, pastoral and operational roles, you will provide advice regarding best practice and recruitment related employment law, presenting practical solutions and options in relation to hiring needs.
Other responsibilities will include:
Preparing Offer Letters and Contracts of Employment.
Carrying out vetting checks on new staff and recording details on the SCR.
Maintaining the HRIS.
About you
At least 2 years of previous experience in recruitment and selection and / or a generalist HR role.
Relevant professional HR or recruitment qualification, or equivalent level of practical experience. A CIPD qualification would be an advantage, though not essential.
An understanding of the regulatory requirements of safer recruitment practices in schools and an awareness of basic employment law.
Previous experience/ knowledge of Schools or education sector would be an advantage.
