The HR apprentice assists with administrative tasks, helps maintain employee records, and ensures compliance with company policies. This role provides hands-on experience in HR practices specific to the aviation industry, offering exposure to diverse employee needs in a fast-paced environment.
Hours:
Monday to Friday, 9 am to 5 pm, 30-minute break. 37.5 hours a week.

7.55 an hour
What you'll do at work-
Payroll & Compensation:
Process monthly payroll notes and audit supporting documents.
Manage and implement annual salary increases.
Ensure timely and accurate processing of monthly invoices.
HR Administration:
Prepare and issue reference letters, mortgage letters, and visa letters upon request.
Onboarding & New Hire Support:
Set up employee personnel files.
Draft and issue payroll notes for new hires.
Coordinate with departments to confirm training schedules.
Send onboarding information to new employees.
Communicate any delays in start dates to new hires.
Submit new hire data to Click ID and book company medicals.
Collaborate with Click ID and internal departments to facilitate onboarding.
Ensure completion of all required documentation before start date (CRC, medical, right to work, etc.).
Oversee completion of all new hire paperwork.
Employee Life Cycle Changes:
Process changes such as maternity/paternity leaves, resignations, and transitions from full-time to part-time.
Draft and issue contract amendments accordingly.
Implement changes in the HR/payroll system (PS).
Manage internal promotions and associated contract updates.
Benefits Administration:
Coordinate and distribute annual benefits forms.
Implement and communicate the annual flexible benefits process to employees.
Conduct system testing for the flexible benefits platform.

Training to be provided:
Training for this qualification will be provided by ourselves at SCCU Group, an Ofsted good training provider. Our tuition is all delivered in the workplace and bespoke to your particular role. Dependent on the learner's prior knowledge.
HR Support Level 3 Standard, 18 months practical with an additional 3 months End Point Assessment period.
Functional Skills in Maths and English (if required).
