Job Summary
We are seeking a proactive and detail-oriented HR Trainee to join our team in Aberdeen. This entry-level role is ideal for someone looking to build a career in Human Resources. You will support day-to-day HR operations, maintain personnel records, manage HR documentation, and ensure compliance with local labor laws. You will also assist with employee travel arrangements and support HR audits and inspections.
Key Responsibilities
Maintain and organize personnel records
Update internal databases (e.g., sick leave, maternity leave)
Prepare HR documents such as employment contracts and onboarding guidesoCreate regular HR reports and presentations
Respond to employee queries on HR-related matters
Support payroll by providing relevant employee data (e.g., absences, schedules)oParticipate in HR projects and initiatives
Take minutes during grievance, disciplinary, and discussion meetings
Perform general HR administrative duties
Assist with local HR compliance and audits
Qualifications & Requirements
Experience in an office environment - Desirable*
Proficiency in Microsoft Excel and Word - Essential*
Strong organizational skills with attention to detail - Essential*
Ability to work collaboratively and build relationships - Essential*
Excellent verbal and written communication skills - Essential*
High level of discretion and ability to handle confidential information - Essential*
Job Types: Full-time, Permanent
Pay: 26,000.00-29,000.00 per year
