Due to a recent internal promotion, we have an exciting opportunity to join our friendly team on a fixed term basis for up to 12 months.
The HR/OD Officer is a varied and interesting role that acts as an escalation point from the HR Officer and provides support to the OD/HR Business Partner to deliver a professional HR and OD Service.

We are looking for an experienced and qualified person with solid knowledge of employment law, so that you can provide support to the HR Officers in dealing with complex employee relations casework and attend formal hearings to support Heads of Service and Assistant Directors.
In this developmental role you will provide OD/HR Business Partners with Organisational Design work including planning and preparing for service reviews and taking proposals forward via our Industrial Relations Framework, working closely with Senior Managers and Trade Union colleagues to ensure that meaningful consultation takes place.
You will also support other interventions such as Investor in People development plans, succession plans and talent management.
With strong analytical skills and highly developed interpersonal and communication skills, knowledge of job evaluation processes would also be an advantage.
