We're looking for a

Health & Safety Manager

to lead the charge in ensuring a safe, compliant, and environmentally conscious workplace. If you're passionate about safety, ready to drive change, and thrive in a fast-paced food production environment--this is your moment.

What you'll be doing:

Champion site-wide health, safety, and environmental compliance Lead and enhance all HSE systems and training, promoting a proactive safety culture Conduct risk assessments, audits, and incident investigations Drive sustainability initiatives and manage environmental performance (waste, energy, carbon) Liaise with regulators, prepare for audits, and manage ISO 14001 compliance Develop and test emergency response plans

What we're looking for:

NEBOSH Diploma / NVQ Level 5/6 (or equivalent) Minimum 5 years' HSE management experience, ideally in food manufacturing Expert knowledge of UK HSE legislation and auditing (ISO 14001, ISO 45001) Proven track record in safety culture transformation Strong communication, leadership, and stakeholder engagement skills Proactive, solutions-focused mindset with a passion for continuous improvement
