Job Description

We are seeking a skilled Truck Drivers to join our team in the UK. In this role, you will play a crucial part in delivering materials to our customers, contributing directly to our commitment to quality service and customer satisfaction.

Responsibilities

Transport goods or raw materials from a designated pick-up location to a designated drop-off location Assess and plan the route that needs to be taken to ensure timely delivery Ensure that the vehicle is in good shape, inspect the mechanics and identify any necessary maintenance work Manoeuvre the vehicle through challenging and sometimes close-fitting spaces to load or unload the goods Update the mileage and time spent on the road in the appropriate log Report any issues encountered, such as defects, scratches or accidents Comply with delivery instructions Perform any light maintenance such as refuelling and cleaning the truck Adhere to all traffic laws and safety regulations Communicate effectively with dispatchers and customers Provide excellent customer service during deliveries Assist with loading and unloading materials as needed

Qualifications

Valid UK driving license with appropriate endorsements for truck operation Proven experience as a truck driver, preferably in commercial driving Strong knowledge of road safety regulations and best practices Excellent communication skills Experience in delivery driving is a plus Strong time management skills and reliability Ability to lift heavy loads when necessary
