About the Role

On behalf of our client, a leading organisation in the aviation industry, JMC Aviation is seeking an experienced Health & Safety Advisor to support ongoing operations in Paisley, Glasgow. This is an excellent opportunity to join a large, fast-paced organisation with a strong focus on compliance, risk management, and continuous improvement.





Key Responsibilities


Conduct risk assessments and ensure effective control measures are implemented. Manage COSHH documentation and ensure chemical safety compliance. Lead or support incident investigations, including root cause analysis. Provide advice and guidance on health and safety legislation and company policies. Support the development and implementation of safety improvement initiatives.

Candidate Requirements

Essential:


Proven experience in Health & Safety roles within large, complex organisations. Strong understanding of risk assessment, COSHH, and incident investigation procedures. NEBOSH General Certificate (or equivalent qualification). Excellent communication and reporting skills. Right to work in the UK.

Desirable:


Experience within the aviation, engineering, or manufacturing sectors. Knowledge of ISO 45001 management systems. Ability to influence and promote a strong safety culture across teams.
