SHE Advisor / HSE Advisor - Feed Mill (Hands-On Role)

Salary:

40,000 - 45,000 per year DOE

Join Ian Mosey (Feed) Ltd as a

hands-on SHE Advisor

supporting our busy feed mill, yard, HGV fleet, and contractors. Split your time between

desk-based tasks and operational floor work

, ensuring safety, environmental compliance, and practical improvements.

Key Responsibilities:

Conduct

inspections, audits, and SHE observations

Observe mill and yard activities to create, review, and maintain

risk assessments

and

safe systems of work (SSOWs)

Support

contractor management

, including permits to work, safe isolation, and CDM compliance Develop, review, and implement

SHE policies, procedures, and guidance

Support

incident reporting, investigations and follow-up actions

Ensure

environmental compliance

Ensure

utilities safety

and site services Deliver

toolbox talks

and staff safety briefings

About You:

NEBOSH Level 3

(or equivalent) SHE experience, ideally in manufacturing, heavy industry, or logistics Knowledge of contractor management, safe isolation, workplace transport, and practical safety oversight Knowledge of

LOLER, PUWER, CDM, and utilities risk management

Hands-on, pragmatic, collaborative and confident working on the floor
