The Role: HSE Coordinator



We are looking to appoint a Health & Safety Coordinator to support the continuous improvement of the company's Health, Safety and Environmental Management System, ensuring compliance with Health Safety and Environmental legislation.

This position will involve responsibilities for all three sites at Cumbernauld, Bathgate and Bonnybridge but will be based at the head office in Bonnybridge.

The successful candidate will be primarily responsible for:

Leading in the development of Health, Safety and Environmental Management Systems Undertaking risk assessments Creating and implementing Operating Procedures and Safe Systems of Work Ensuring that procedures are adhered to across three sites Carrying out inspections and audits Leading Health Safety and Environmental Training, identifying and reporting on training needs within the Company Carrying out accident and incident investigations Communicating with external parties on Health Safety and Environmental issues
The ideal candidate will hold a recognised Health and Safety qualification with experience in auditing Health Safety and Environmental Management Systems in a manufacturing environment, and possess excellent written and interpersonal skills, with good problem solving, motivational and team working skills.
