We are looking for an HSE Manager to join our team, to continue our ongoing mission of zero accidents on site. Health and safety is a huge priority in our business and we are looking for someone who shares our passion for ensuring everyone gets home safely at the end of the day.

SE Manager
Manage the HSE function across the business, promoting a HSE focused culture and promote industry leading safety behaviours.
Communicate positive H&S performance effectively to both internal and external stakeholders.
Manage external and internal relationships, representing Osprey and working with subcontractors, suppliers and the wider business on health and safety matters as required.
Develop briefing and communication strategies to ensure that the Health and Safety plan and important information is understood and operated by all employees and subcontractors
Engage across the sites, implementing health and safety policies and procedures, and ensuring compliance with health and safety legislation.
Develop and deliver toolbox talks, training and inductions ensuring that all aspects of health and safety are understood by the business.
Bring innovative and creative thinking to the business whilst still maintaining exceptional H&S standards.
Review the production of risk assessments and method statements
Undertake audits and inspections of the sites, identifying areas for improvement, and reporting on the findings.
Requirements for
a
HSE Manager
NEBOSH general certificate (IOSH membership desired)
10 years min experience within nuclear, oil & gas or renewables
Team leadership experience/line management experience
Basic awareness of planning/logistics processes
Excellent communication skills
Proactive and not afraid to get stuck in where needed
Experience in heavy lift operations and working with ISO standards and management systems
Customer focused, with experience of dealing with a variety of different people
Self-managed and motivated to stay up to date on any HSE changes
