Health, Safety & Environment (HSE) Team Leader

.

In this vital role, you'll lead on HSE and Facilities Management across our sites in Liverpool, Birkenhead, Oldham and North Tyneside - ensuring our teams and spaces remain safe, compliant, and efficient. You'll also champion a positive health & safety culture, leading internal campaigns and helping embed good practice across the organisation.

Key Responsibilities:



Leading on day-to-day HSE operations and facilities management Conducting site inspections, risk assessments and emergency drills Managing maintenance schedules, contractor safety, and property compliance Preparing H&S reports, supporting audits, and maintaining documentation Leading and supporting your team (Caretaker & Cleaner), fostering a positive and safe working environment Coordinating safety communications and cultural campaigns Monitoring energy use, arranging inspections, and driving continual improvements

Skills and Experience:



Excellent attention to detail and strong organisational skills Confident communicator with a proactive, solutions-focused mindset IOSH Managing Safely qualified First Aider (Mental Health First Aider desirable) Experience in a Health & Safety or facilities role (desirable) Background in warehousing or logistics (desirable) A valid UK

driving licence

is essential - you'll be travelling across sites
