Ocean Infinity is seeking an HSEQ Advisor to join our HSEQ Department and Projects Team. You will Work daily to maintain and enhance Ocean Infinity's Health, Safety, Environment, and Quality (HSEQ) system while providing ongoing HSEQ support for projects within the Marine Department. Additionally, offer operational advice to engineering teams and support tender processes
What will you do:
The duties and responsibilities for this position include, but are not limited to:Responsible for assigned internal and commercial projects related to HSEQ Management (Project HSEQ role); Responsible for collecting information regarding specific requirements for assigned projects; Travel to Project Kick Off Meetings and Client Meetings; Conduct vessel visits as part of ongoing projects to ensure that chartered vessels comply with Ocean Infinity HSEQ standards; Responsible for conducting incident investigations and managing preventive and incident reporting; Ensure that Incident Reporting is aligned with internal and client requirements; Maintain and update documentation related to HSEQ; Assist the assigned operation team with HSEQ documentation; Assist engineering with operational HSE insight; Assist the Tender department during tender processes; and, Assist during internal and external audits related to the regional offices.

Who you are:NEBOSH International General Certificate in Occupational Health and Safety, or equivalent; Membership in a professional safety organisation (e.g., IOSH, BCSP, BCRSP) or equivalent; Strong understanding of quality management such as standards, regulations and applicable policies and procedures; and, Good practical experience with office tools: MS Office Suite, Teams, e-mail, and management system platforms. Ability to take ownership and engagement in the work; Integrity, credibility and maturity for confidential issues; Ability to handle sensitive and confidential situations with diplomacy; Excellent time management skills and ability to prioritize work in a fast-paced environment; Strong communication skills; Driven, proactive and able to work autonomously with little supervision towards the company's purpose; Critical thinking and ability to show initiative; Open and receptive to new and different ideas; Ability to work well in a team and independently; and, Enthusiastic about protecting people and the planet.

Desirable:Bachelor's degree in Occupational Health and Safety or related (e.g., business, maritime, technology, or robotics, etc.) field, or 0-3 years of experience as an HSEQ advisor; Experience with the development, implementation, and assurance of ISO registered management systems (9001, 14001, 27001, 45001).

Salary for this position: Up to 45,000 per annum.
Salary: The salary varies for this position as we are recruiting in multiple regional locations and job grades. The salary process is based on skills, abilities, and experience required.
