Job Overview

The HSEQ Manager will play a key role in driving the organisation's commitment to health, safety, environment and quality (HSEQ) excellence. This role's key responsibilities are:

ensure comprehensive risk assessments are in place for all activities, plan and carry out internal audits and inspections, support the maintenance of existing management systems commensurate with ISO standards, lead and/or assist incident/accident/near miss investigations, maintain procedures for the prevention and handling of emergency situations, liaise with enforcement agencies, liaise with key clients regarding HSEQ matters, promote safety culture to workforce with aim of continuously improvement of reporting safety concerns, contribute to the development and delivery of HSEQ training, maintain own knowledge of HSEQ legal compliance requirements, provide advice and support to management regarding all HSEQ matters.

You will need

Strong report writing skills with the ability to communicate complex information clearly and effectively, experience of working in a HSEQ role, excellent organisational skills with a keen attention to detail, ability to work independently as well as part of a team, demonstrating strong interpersonal skills, proactive approach to problem-solving with the ability to manage multiple tasks effectively, driving licence and willingness to travel to other sites, a level 3 qualification in occupational safety and health is a minimum requirement.
