Aureos are seeking an HSQE Coordinator to join our office in Andover. This role will report to the Compliance Manager and work to support any HSQEW & Sustainability requirements but with a particular focus on our compliance requirements relating to Quality & Assurance.

Aureos are seeking an HSQE Coordinator to join our office in Bathgate. The role will report to the HSQEW Project Manager and work to support with Infrastructure requirements. They will play a key support role also with the Lead HSQEW Managers across Rail, Energy and Highways and the wider team, and operations as required.

This role requires the candidate to be flexible and adapt to the needs of the business. They will need to maintain two-way communication with other coordinators and be willing to support them if there is a need.

There are opportunities for this role to attend site alongside the HSQEW team to help further their understanding of the business but primarily it will be administrative tasks that are completed.

This is an entry level position with excellent training and progression opportunities for the right person looking to develop within the HSQE team.

Primary duties, responsibilities and accountabilities



Support the HSQEW Project Manager with any Infrastructure requirements.

Support the Lead HSQEW Managers and HSQEW Teams.

Compiling weekly HSQEW bulletin packs.

Compiling HSQEW reports for varying management levels.

Collation of business HSQEW KPI's.

Compile Board Report HSQEW content.

Investigations - supporting live investigations as instructed (this may require visiting site locations).

Manage action logs / weekly status reports.

Coordinate the management of open notification status regarding all event reporting.

First point of contact for the team regarding system queries - basic user function queries.

Administration tasks.

Secondary duties, responsibilities and accountabilities



Minute taking.

Develop any Client HSQEW reports as required.

Work closely with HSQEW and Quality/Assurance teams to process relevant documentation in adherence to ISO 9001, 14001, 45001 and 45003 if required.

Participate in internal/external audits including coordinating/initiating necessary activities for preparation/follow up.

Participate in internal working groups where necessary.

Supporting the completion of Client PQQ's (pre-qualification questionnaires) in a timely manner in order to gain supply chain approval.

Other ad hoc administrative duties that may be required for this role.

Escalate any issues.

Qualifications and Training



Essential

Willing to undertake Apprenticeship in Occupational Health & Safety

Proficient in the use of Microsoft (particularly Excel, Word, PowerPoint)

Excellent English skills

Level 3 award in education and training

Mental Health First Aide

Full UK Driving Licence

Kelvin Top Set 1 day - 3 day

Report writing course

Behavioural Safety Training incl TCUP

Desirable

A-Level educated

NEBOSH Construction Level 3 - Level 6 (or equivalent)

IOSH Membership Grad - Chartered (or equivalent)

IEMA Practitioner member or above (or equivalent)

Great organisational skills - prioritising workload

Willing to progress and develop at request of the business
