Pilgrim Payne has been around since 1850.
Over the years we have evolved and expanded our range of services to include curtain and blind cleaning, carpet cleaning, upholstery cleaning, re-upholstery of furniture, curtain and blind making, cleaning and restoring of rugs and tapestries. We offer a general cleaning service to our London based customers. Our client base extends across London, the south east of England, as well as the M40, M3 and M4 corridors.
We are looking for someone with 3-5+ years dry cleaning experience, who is organized, detail-oriented, and capable of prioritizing a diverse workload. A strong work ethic and a commitment to delivering quality results are essential. Familiarity with computerized systems for processing orders and managing inventory is a must.
Key Responsibilities:
Operational Leadership
: Manage the day-to-day operations of our dry cleaning hub, ensuring efficiency and effectiveness in all processes. Lead a small, dedicated team while fostering a positive work environment.Quality Assurance
: Maintain the quality of our services to the highest standards. Conduct regular inspections and implement quality control measures to ensure customer satisfaction.Machine Operation
: Proficiently operate and maintain all dry cleaning and commercial laundry machines, including steam presses. Ensure that all equipment is functioning optimally and addressed promptly when issues arise.Communication Skills
: While the role isn't directly customer-facing, you will be responsible for communicating professionally with teammates and customers over the phone, addressing their inquiries and concerns with clarity and professionalism.Job Type: Full-time
Pay: 35,000.00-40,000.00 per year
