Human Resources Administrator & Personal Assistant
to provide confidential support to the Director and manage day-to-day HR administration. This is a varied role combining administrative excellence with HR responsibilities, ideal for someone who thrives in a dynamic environment.
Key Responsibilities
Provide high-quality administrative and organisational support to the Director.
Maintain confidentiality when handling sensitive information.
Prepare meeting agendas, take minutes, and ensure timely follow-up.
Oversee HR administration, including personnel files, training, and absence records.
Support recruitment: draft job adverts, arrange interviews, issue contracts and offer letters.
Coordinate onboarding and probation reviews for new starters.
Monitor and schedule mandatory staff training.
Prepare HR correspondence (letters, variations, references).
Advise staff and managers on routine HR queries.
What We're Looking For
Essential:
Minimum 2 years' office experience.
CIPD Level 3 in HR Practice (or working towards) OR equivalent HR admin experience.
Strong Microsoft Office skills (Word, Excel).
Excellent communication, organisational, and self-management skills.
High level of discretion and professionalism.
Full UK driving license and willingness to travel within the South West.
Desirable:
Experience supporting senior managers or directors.
Ability to manage competing priorities in a fast-paced environment.
Knowledge of HR policies and procedures.
