About The Role
HUMAN RESOURCES ADMINISTRATOR
Contract: Permanent Opportunity
Division: Central - Human Resources
Location: Hillsborough, Northern Ireland
We are seeking a proactive and detail-oriented Human Resources Administrator to support the services offered within the HR team.
Reporting directly to the Human Resources Coordinator, this role plays a vital part in delivering high-quality administrative support across the business.
As a Human Resources Administrator, you will manage a variety of day-to-day tasks, including data management, onboarding coordination, and employee support, ensuring the smooth operation of our HR processes.
Key Responsibilities:

  • Maintain accurate and up-to-date employee records in HR systems.
  • Process new starter and contract change documentation.
  • Provide payroll-related information to the finance team.
  • Prepare HR reports and metrics as required.
  • Respond to routine HR queries from employees and managers.
  • Support HR projects and initiatives as directed by the HR Coordinator.
  • Assist with audits and compliance checks.
  • Produce and submit weekly and monthly management reports.
  • Ensure compliance with data protection and confidentiality standards.
  • Ensure adherence to company policies and employment legislation.
  • Coordinate all aspects of onboarding, ensuring a smooth and positive experience.
  • Arrange Travel When Required
  • Track and process probationary periods, including preparing review documentation and supporting managers with timely evaluations.
  • This job description is intended to give the post holder an appreciation of the role envisaged for the Human Resources Administrator and the range of duties to be undertaken.
  • It does not attempt to detail every activity. Specific tasks and objectives will be agreed with the post holder at regular intervals.
  • Handle the receipt and processing of invoices and speeding fines, ensuring accurate record-keeping and communication with relevant employees.
Essential
  • Strong IT skills to include Microsoft suite and good working knowledge of Internet Explorer or equivalent
  • Proven administrative experience in a busy working environment
  • Excellent organisational skills, with strong communication and interpersonal skills
  • Uses own initiative when approaching tasks.
  • Stellar attention to detail and adaptability
Desirable
  • Exposure to the Construction industry
  • Experience within a HR team
