Job Summary
As an HR Administrator, you will provide comprehensive administrative support to the UK team, ensuring the smooth running of the employee lifecycle. This role plays a key part in maintaining employee records, coordinating recruitment processes, supporting payroll administration, and assisting with HR projects in compliance with UK employment legislation.
Key Responsibilities
Maintain accurate employee records on our HR system and personnel files.
Prepare HR documentation such as contracts of employment, offer letters, and changes to terms and conditions.
Support the onboarding and offboarding process (e.g. induction materials, exit interviews, reference requests).
Monitor probationary periods and contract renewals.
Recruitment Support
Post job adverts and manage applicant tracking.
Schedule interviews and liaise with hiring managers and candidates.
Conduct right-to-work checks and ensure compliance with UK immigration requirements.
Payroll and Benefits
Provide accurate HR data to payroll each month.
Maintain records for annual leave, sickness, and other absences.
Support the administration of benefits such as pensions, health schemes, or salary sacrifice schemes.
Employee Relations & Compliance
Support HR in responding to general employee queries and escalating complex issues as needed.
Ensure compliance with GDPR and UK employment law requirements.
Projects & Reporting
Support HR initiatives such as engagement surveys, learning and development tracking, or wellbeing programmes.
Produce regular HR reports (e.g. headcount, absence, turnover).
Required Qualifications
Minimum of 2-3 years in an HR administrative or generalist role
Sound knowledge of employment law and HR best practices
Excellent interpersonal and communication skills with the ability to build relationships
Strong organisational and time-management skills
Ability to handle sensitive matters with discretion and professional
Proficiency in HRIS systems and Microsoft Office Suite
Preferred Qualifications
CIPD Level 3 (or working towards)
Experience in a fast-paced or high-growth environment
