Job Purpose
The Human Resources Administrator provides a high level of support to the HR Department and organisation. In your role you will be the first point of contact, you will be responsible for providing a comprehensive, methodical and professional Human Resources Service internally and externally.
Main duties of the job
The role will include the coordination of human resources activities within the Nexus Health Group, ensuring that standards and objectives for the HR Administrative services are met. These include;
Recruitment process
Pre-employment checks
Management of HR system (BreatheHR)
To ensure maintenance of a comprehensive and robust database of all employees.
Providing HR Administration support

Person specification
Essential:
5 GCSE (grades A-C) or equivalent including English and Mathematics or NVQ Level 3 in Administration
Demonstrable experience in a HR Administrative / Assistant role or experience in a similar role.
Accurate data entry skills
Good communication skills
Excellent attention to detail, methodical approach and able to prioritise and manage own workload.
Good problem solving skills, with the ability to seek and develop solutions including complaints.
Ability to organise and resolve problems and able to maintain confidentiality.
Ability to show initiative and work with limited supervision.
Empathy in handling personal and welfare issues from staff and managers
Ability to form successful relationships and influence at all levels both internally and externally
Ability to work to tight deadlines and resist pressure with confidence
High level of discretion and judgment
Proficient with IT including MS Office applications, and HR systems.
Good written and verbal communication skills and the ability to present information clearly
Resilient and able to work autonomously.
Able to manage a high workload of competing priorities
Good organisational skills, attention to detail with the ability to prioritise a heavy workload with a minimum of supervision and to work to tight deadlines.
Proven experience of proactively partnering with managers to influence, coach and improve operational service delivery and build management capability
Able to communicate and present sensitive or complex information in a clear and easily understood format
Diplomacy in dealing with angry / anxious staff / managers
Desirable:
Level 3 CIPD or Evidence of working toward a CIPD membership.
Experience of working in the NHS
