AMS No-Dig is a contracting business specialising in Horizontal Directional Drilling and Guided Auger Bore solutions. The company operate the largest fleet of HDD rigs in the UK and carry out works for all of the major companies operating in the construction and utilities sector.
Summary
We have an excellent opportunity for an experienced Human Resources and Payroll Assistant to join our growing team.
Responsibilities
Ensure timely and accurate processing of weekly payroll
Dealing with payroll queries in a timely manner
Managing employee holidays and absences
Processing starters and leavers
Assist with the recruitment process, including posting job ads and coordinating interviews
Assist with maintaining training schedules and ensure employee records are maintained and kept up to date
Process HR related documentation
Collaborate with management to implement HR policies and procedures
Provide administrative support as needed
Qualifications
Strong data entry skills and attention to detail
Previous experience working within a similar role
Knowledge of human resources practices and employment laws
Excellent organisational and communication skills
Ability to handle sensitive information discreetly
Good working knowledge of accounting software
Ability to work to deadlines
Knowledge of HMRC CIS rules would be advantageous
The Package
Salary dependent on knowledge and experience
25 days paid holiday, plus bank and public holidays
Your normal hours of work will be Monday to Friday 08.30 to 17.00
