The Role
Are you ready for a role where no two days are the same and your contribution truly matters? As a vital member of our welcoming HR team, you'll play a hands-on role in supporting the delivery of high-quality HR services across the Council. From recruitment and selection to payroll, maintaining HR systems, job evaluation, and onboarding and employment checks, --you'll gain exposure to the full employee lifecycle. It's a busy and varied role with plenty of room to develop your skills and grow your career in HR.
About You
About You
Ideally you will have previous experience of working in an HR team and have an HR or equivalent Level 3 qualification. We are looking for someone who has strong customer service skills, is confident in written and verbal communications, is detail-focused and has strong ICT skills, including Microsoft Office, and is able to work accurately and to deadline in a fast-paced environment.
The minimum frequency for in-office attendance will be two or three times per week, however it could be more frequent based on the demands of the service. We therefore expect candidates to reside within a commutable distance from 52 Derby Street, Ormskirk.
