Human Resources Assistant

15.10 per hour (31,408 full-time equivalent)
Full-time, Permanent (30-40 hours/week - negotiable)
52 weeks/year - Office-based (not remote)

We are looking for an experienced Human Resources Assistant to start as soon as possible due to company growth.

Key Responsibilities



Maintain HR records and databases (e.g. SAGE HR)

Track leave, sickness, compliance documents, and licences

Assist with payroll, invoices, purchase ledger and expenses

Take notes during investigations and disciplinary meetings

Conduct staff wellbeing checks and help organise events

Handle general office duties (phones, supplies, admin tasks)

Prepare onboarding documents (e.g. contracts, Right to Work)

Support employee orientation and training admin

Experience and qualifications you will have:



Driver's licence

1+ year of experience in an HR Administrator/Coordinator role

Strong Microsoft Office skills (Word, Excel, Outlook)

Ideally CIPD Level 5 or willing to study toward it

Excellent communication and interpersonal skills

Organised, detail-oriented, and discreet

Experience of managing adverts through online platforms such as, Indeed etc (desirable).

Able to prioritise tasks and work independently

Positive, team-oriented, and empathetic
