Job Description

HR Business Partner - 21 hours per week



38,000 - 40,000 per annum (pro-rata)



Hybrid working arrangements (Bury Leisure Centre & homeworking)



This is an exciting opportunity for someone to join our busy, friendly HR team at Abbeycroft, where we meet the HR needs of around 475 staff across 12 sites. Our team is passionate about creating a supportive and inclusive workplace and we are looking for an individual that can help us to champion our values - community, integrity, pride and teamwork.

We are seeking a knowledgeable and proactive HR specialist to join our team. This role is ideal for someone with strong expertise in employment law and a desire to support and develop others.

Rota:

Monday, Wednesday and Friday. Hours of work are flexible and can be agreed upon discussion.

Key Responsibilities:



Support casework, ensuring compliance with current and emerging employment legislation

Mentor and support the HR team, fostering a culture of continuous learning and professional growth

Contribute to strategic HR projects aligned with our organisational goals and values

Collaborate with our managers to embed fair, inclusive and legally sound HR practices

Support the HR Manager and CEO with developing, integrating and achieving the aims of our HR Service Delivery Plan.

Requirements:



Have a strong background in employee relations and employment law

Up-to-date knowledge of UK employment legislation

A working knowledge of emerging legislation around the Employment Rights Bill

Excellent communication and problem-solving skills

A strategic mindset with the ability to influence and drive change

The ability to occasionally travel to other Abbeycroft sites, depending on service needs.

Qualifications:



Essential - Level 5 CIPD qualification but it would be highly desirable to have the Level 7 qualification (or working towards this)
