With big growth plans ahead, we're strengthening our People Team and searching for an energetic, solutionsd riven Regional HR Business Partner to support our South Region
The Role
This is a handson, businessfacing HR role supporting 16 tracks across the South. Reporting to the People and Culture Director, you will partner with the Divisional Operations Director and Central People team to ensure our General Managers, effectively embed the People Strategy withi their sites, and deliver effective people solutions across the full employee lifecycle for their teams.
You'll be out in our sites working with our management teams ensuring they embed great HR practice, you'll act as a coach and build management teams capability, and of course, you'll need to ensure we are legally robust and compliant with UK employment legislation.
This role offers variety, autonomy, and the chance to make a real impact across a diverse and fast based region.
Key Responsibilities
Business Partnering & Strategy
Partner with the People and Culture Director and Divisional Operations Director to deliver key elements of the people strategy across our sites
Coach and support managers at all levels across 16 sites, embedding HR best practice.
Support succession planning, management development and the delivery of Operational/HR excellence
Update, streamline, and maintain employment policies, processes, and handbooks.
Ensure all HR operations, documentation, GDPR and people processes are compliant and audit-ready.
Recruitment & Talent
Lead and support recruitment across multiple sites, ensuring quality and speed of hire.
Support talent development, PDP planning, and leadership capability building.
Deliver training sessions for site leadership teams (GMs, AGMs, HODs).
Employee Relations
Manage ER cases professionally, consistently, and in line with UK employment law.
Provide expert advice on conduct, capability, grievance, performance, and absence.
Work with managers to proactively reduce ER escalations through coaching and preventative support.
Engagement, Culture & Values
Champion TeamSport's values and drive a positive, inclusive, high-energy culture.
Support engagement initiatives, recognition programmes, retention activities and survey follow-up actions.
Build strong, trusted relationships across all sites and levels.
About You
Essential
Proven HR experience at HR Manager or HRBP level.
Background in hospitality, leisure or retail with multi site experience
Strong UK employment law knowledge and generalist HR expertise.
Confident communicator with the ability to influence and coach managers at all levels.
Flexible, hands-on, proactive, and comfortable travelling across the South Region.
Highly organised, detail-driven, and aligned to TeamSport's values.
Package & Location
Hybrid role - 2 days per week in the Surrey Support Office.
Generous salary + bonus + company car.
Travel required across 16 tracks spanning the South Region (South Coast, South London, Hampshire, Surrey, Sussex, Dorset).
