We are looking for a HR Director to join our Building and Finance Leadership Teams in Leavesden.
What you'll do:

  • People plan in place and being delivered to achieve key strategic objectives including: Inclusion and Diversity, resource and skill planning, support of YVOS action planning across the OU/EF
  • Effective governance in place for key people activities and sharing of "best practice" around HR/People activities.
  • Coach & develop team to build succession for the HR function.
  • Clear visibility of resource & skills requirements and plans in place to ensure low levels of vacancies.
  • Embedding 'Learn Fast' adoption across OU / EF
  • Ensuring PDR / goal plan / development plan completion.
  • Enabling development of ER competence amongst line managers.
  • Appropriate level of employee voluntary turnover.
  • Strong and diverse succession with active talent development plans in place for key roles.
  • Strong understanding of trends and data correlations which lead to actionable insights.
What you'll bring to the role:
  • Proven delivery in the core areas of generalist HR at senior level along with CIPD qualification.
  • Proven experience of championing and improving Inclusion and Diversity.
  • Management of business and people change.
  • Forecasting and planning.
  • Strong commercial & business understanding.
  • A thorough and up to date knowledge of employment law, and experience of practical application.
  • Track record of building credible relationships at all levels.
  • Resilient - able to face challenges proactively.
  • Strong interpersonal skills with the right balance of empathy and rigour.
