Human Resources (HR) Shared Services Administrator
Job Location: United Kingdom
Job Type: Fixed term contract - 12 months
Remuneration: Competitive salary taking into account skills, experience, and qualifications
We have an exciting opportunity for a motivated and empathetic Human Resources Administrator.
Role Overview: As a Human Resources Administrator, you will be based in the UK and provide a positive experience to colleagues through various touchpoints in the colleague lifecycle.
Your responsibilities will include:
Supporting the new colleague on-boarding process including offer and contract preparation, HRIS set up and maintenance, initiating pre-employment screening process, and dealing with general queries via tier 0 and tier 1 through a ServiceNow platform.
Providing support in dealing with colleague contractual amendments and the leaver process.
Handling internal customer queries from both colleagues and leaders, ensuring best practice advice and guidance.
Acting as an initial contact on basic operational CR issues at employee and manager levels through the full colleague resources lifecycle.
Overseeing the tier 0 and tier 1 queries received via Shared Services and triaging them to the appropriate COE.
Understanding HR tools and policies, partnering with business areas to ensure best practice, whilst maintaining a pragmatic approach.
Supporting the wider team with projects.
Being an ambassador for the Colleague Resources team.
The skills you will have when you apply:
HR Experience - Previous experience as an HR Administrator or Advisor in a fast-paced environment.
Workday Knowledge - Experience using the Workday HRIS platform (desirable but not essential).
Language Skills - An additional language such as German, Dutch, French or Spanish would be desirable but not essential.
Microsoft Office Proficiency - Skilled in Word and Excel, including pivot tables, VLOOKUPs, and formulas.
Employee Relations Insight - Understanding of employee relations matters (desirable but not essential).
Relationship Building - Ability to build strong relationships with teams and stakeholders.
Commercial Awareness - Applies best practice with a commercial outlook to people-related issues.
Team Collaboration - A team player who works collaboratively for the success of the wider team.
Confidentiality - Handles sensitive information with tact and diplomacy.
Communication Confidence - Comfortable communicating with colleagues at all levels, adapting style as needed.
Emotional Resilience - Manages own emotions effectively under pressure or in challenging situations.
Organisational Skills - Highly organised and consistently meets deadlines.
Numeracy & Business Acumen - Strong numerical skills with good business understanding.
Attention to Detail - Meticulous in following processes and ensuring accuracy.
Adaptability - Comfortable working in ambiguous, fluid situations with changing deadlines.
