The Role
Reporting to the HR Manager, the Human Resources Officer will coordinate and deliver the Cookstown site's strategic HR initiatives, including leadership development, employee engagement, operational performance management, onboarding, and employee development. This is a key role in ensuring HR processes support business goals and create a positive and compliant working environment.

The Ideal Candidate

• Third-level qualification in HR, Business Studies, or related discipline.
• CIPD membership or equivalent recognised HR qualification.
• Minimum of 2 years' experience in an HR Officer role within a fast-paced environment.
• Strong knowledge of NI employment legislation.
• Proficiency in Microsoft Word, Excel, PowerPoint, and Outlook.
• Excellent communication, organisation, and presentation skills.
• Ability to handle confidential information with discretion and attention to detail.
• Self-motivated, with a genuine ambition to progress within HR.

Your Key Responsibilities

• Support the delivery of leadership development, employee engagement, and performance management initiatives.
• Coordinate onboarding and employee training programmes.
• Maintain accurate employee records and HR databases (OpenHR, Crown).
• Prepare HR documentation such as contracts, letters, and forms.
• Ensure compliance with NI employment legislation and company policies.
• Support investigations and disciplinary processes in line with company procedures.
• Provide guidance and support to managers on HR practices.
• Liaise with payroll to ensure accurate and timely information.
• Update weekly HR metrics and maintain communication boards.
• Arrange annual medicals and support site-wide HR projects as required.

Summary
A key role supporting the Cookstown site by delivering HR initiatives that drive engagement, compliance, and employee development.
