Salary:

26,824 - 29,540 FTE (23,559 - 25,944 actual salary)

Working pattern:

37 hours per week, term time plus 2 weeks

The Role



We are seeking a dedicated and enthusiastic Human Resources Officer to join our People and Culture team. This is an exciting opportunity for someone who is ambitious, proactive, and wants to make a positive impact in the education sector.

As HR Officer, you will:

Act as the first point of contact for HR queries across the Trust. Provide advice and support to Headteachers, senior leaders, and staff on a wide range of HR matters. Assist with recruitment, onboarding, and maintaining the Single Central Record. Support HR projects, policy development, and compliance. Coordinate staff benefits, employee surveys, and statutory returns. Ensure accurate HR administration and payroll instructions.
This role involves working across multiple sites, so flexibility and a full driving licence are essential.

What We're Looking For



CIPD qualified (or working towards). Previous HR experience, including advising managers and attending HR-related meetings. Strong knowledge of employment legislation and HR best practice. Excellent communication, organisational, and IT skills. Ability to work under pressure, prioritise tasks, and maintain confidentiality. A collaborative, positive approach and commitment to professional development.
Experience in a school environment and knowledge of Local Government/National Conditions is desirable.
