The Role



As an

HR Specialist

, you will play a key role in

supporting the HR function

across a range of processes. Reporting to the

HR & IT Process Manager

, you will work on various HR-related tasks, contributing to the development and delivery of effective HR strategies while ensuring the smooth operation of our HR systems.

This role is ideal for someone eager to learn and grow within the HR field. We are looking beyond experience--we want someone with a positive attitude, strong interpersonal skills, and a proactive approach who is keen to develop and progress with us.

Key Responsibilities



HR Operations:

Support day-to-day HR activities, including onboarding and employee relations.

HR Systems & Processes:

Assist in the implementation and improvement of HR systems and workflows.

Employee Records Management:

Maintain and update accurate employee records and HR data.

HR Reporting & Compliance:

Contribute to HR reporting and ensure compliance with employment regulations.

Cross-Department Collaboration:

Work closely with other teams to create a cohesive HR strategy across the business.

Employee Engagement:

Support employee engagement initiatives and training programmes.

Essential Criteria



Strong communication and interpersonal skills. A proactive attitude and a genuine passion for HR. Ability to manage multiple tasks and prioritise effectively. A keen interest in professional growth and development. Previous HR experience or a related field is beneficial but not essential.

Desirable Criteria



Experience using HR systems and software. Knowledge of current HR trends and best practices.

Location: Clayton Glass, 6 James Street, Righead Industrial Estate, Bellshill, ML4 3LU



Working Hours: Monday to Friday 39 hrs/week, 2.5hrs unpaid break/week.


Salary: Starting at 25,000 (12.32 p/h), after completing 3 month probation 26,000 (12.82p/h) and after 6 months 27,360 (13.49 p/h)
