PUSH is a small, forward-thinking Perth-based charity that provides employability training and work experience for young people aged 16-24 who face barriers to employment. Our reuse shop and warehouse combine environmental sustainability with social impact -- helping young people gain skills, confidence, and qualifications while reducing waste.
We're now looking for a part-time
HR Support Worker
to join our friendly team. This new role will strengthen our internal systems and help ensure we remain compliant, organised, and people-focused as we continue to grow.
The Role
You'll provide HR and administrative support across a range of key areas -- from organising mandatory training to recording annual leave, updating policies, and maintaining confidential staff records. The role would suit someone who enjoys structure, accuracy, and variety, and who's happy to take initiative in a small, supportive charity environment.
Key Responsibilities
Organise and record staff training (mandatory and online)
Maintain training logs and send reminders for renewals
Record and manage annual leave, sick leave, and absences
Keep HR and employment law policies up to date
Maintain accurate and confidential HR records (digital and paper)
Support with recruitment and onboarding administration
Assist with policy reviews, HR reporting, and data protection compliance
Provide general HR support to the management team
About You
We're looking for someone who's confident handling HR processes and enjoys keeping things organised. You'll be proactive, detail-focused, and comfortable working both independently and as part of a small team.
Essential:
Experience in an HR or HR administrative role
Knowledge of UK employment law and HR best practice
Excellent organisation and attention to detail
Discretion and professionalism when handling sensitive information
Good communication skills (written and verbal)
Competent with Microsoft Office and HR systems
Desirable:
CIPD qualification (or studying towards one)
Experience working in a small organisation or charity
Familiarity with GDPR and data protection in HR
What We Offer
19.00 per hour (paid monthly)
2 days per week (approx. 14-16 hours), flexible schedule by agreement
