Job Overview



As an important member of a small, highly focussed team you will be responsible for managing assigned electrical engineering projects. Your role will involve working with the management team to achieve the overall objectives of delivering projects safely, to the highest quality standards and within the agreed timescales and budget.

As the Project Manager, you will be responsible for ensuring the project's planning, management and financial oversight. Engaging with stakeholders and maintaining effective communications, monitoring progress and implementing changes as necessary to achieve the project goals.

You will be commercially responsible for your project and for retaining and building relationships with existing clients and developing new business opportunities. There will be an expectation that you will work to improve project performance and profitability.

A major part of your role will involve the control of subcontractors, to ensure that all tasks are clearly instructed and delivered in line with the project requirements, with continuous evaluation and reporting.

A significant part of this role is the continuous management of health and safety standards, ensuring that work is performed safely by all parties, and implementing reasonable and practical measures to protect everyone involved.

With this role you will be responsible for the effective management of large electrical infrastructure installations and as such there will be a requirement for site attendance during the installation works. Labron Technical Ltd operates across the whole of the UK therefore this role requires travel and potentially overnight stays depending on project location.

Your experience:



Whilst experience in Project Management would be preferred it is not essential; we are seeking candidates with HV electrical engineering knowledge with ambition to develop their skills as well as those with well-honed PM experience. Approachable and amenable with the ability to motivate people and engender a culture of team working to achieve the aims of the business is key.

A confident user of Word, Excel and Outlook is an absolute requirement, familiarity with MS Project and Xero would be beneficial.

Job Type: Full-time

Pay: 60,000.00-80,000.00 per year
