We are seeking a skilled and dedicated HVAC Technician to join our team. The successful candidate will be responsible for installing, maintaining, and repairing heating, ventilation, and air conditioning systems across various commercial and residential properties. Responsibilities
Install, service, and repair HVAC systems in accordance with manufacturer specifications and safety standards
Conduct routine maintenance to ensure systems operate efficiently and reliably
Diagnose faults using schematics, technical manuals, and diagnostic tools
Repair or replace faulty equipment, including compressors, fans, thermostats, and ductwork
Read and interpret technical diagrams and schematics to facilitate accurate installation and repair work
Lead small teams during installation or maintenance projects, providing guidance and supervision as needed
Maintain detailed records of work performed and parts used for each job
Ensure all work complies with health and safety regulations and company policies
Requirements
Proven experience in HVAC installation, maintenance, and repair
Strong mechanical knowledge with the ability to troubleshoot complex systems effectively
Familiarity with schematics, technical manuals, and diagnostic procedures
Ability to repair various types of equipment related to air conditioning, ventilation, and heating systems
Experience in construction or related trades is advantageous
Demonstrated leadership skills with the capacity to supervise or mentor junior team members
Excellent organisational skills with attention to detail
Valid relevant certification or licence in HVAC technology is preferred but not essential for entry-level roles
