The Job Mission
This role is a mix of site and office-based work in Bridgwater, and relocation support is available if required. You'll be central to preparing and delivering HVAC construction work packs, enabling installation activities to progress safely and on schedule. Your future team will rely on your technical leadership to keep documentation aligned, interfaces managed, and construction readiness achieved.
Key responsibilities include:
Prepare and deliver HVAC construction work packs, ensuring clarity and compliance with standards
Define and manage boundaries of scope for allocated works and documentation
Liaise with subject matter experts, contractors, and client counterparts to resolve queries
Review, update, and prioritise documentation to meet project deadlines
Ensure deliverables achieve >90% first-time acceptance rate through quality reviews
Contribute to planning and scheduling activities, providing feedback on resources and timelines
Identify constructability issues and coordinate surveys or temporary works solutions
Drive coordination across mechanical, electrical, and civil interfaces for seamless delivery
Support improvement initiatives to streamline processes and enhance project efficiency
Provide leadership within the pre-construction team and deputise for the Pre-Construction PM where required
Qualifications
Essential Skills and Qualifications
Mechanical degree or significant HVAC systems experience
Experience on major construction projects in highly regulated sectors
Proven track record operating at Engineer or Senior Engineer level
Proficiency in Navisworks and strong Excel capability
Strong organisation and problem-solving skills
Ability to manage configuration documentation effectively
