Key Responsibilities:

Plan and execute

scheduled maintenance

across HVAC systems. Respond to

breakdowns and emergency callouts

, diagnosing and repairing faults efficiently. Supervise engineering apprentices and ensure the availability of specialist components. Maintain accurate maintenance records and

manage van stocks

. Ensure all work complies with

health & safety legislation

and company standards. Gain extensive knowledge of mechanical and electrical building services, including their interface with general building works.

What We're Looking For:

Proven experience in the

ventilation industry

, including

ductwork or fire damper testing/remedials

. Solid knowledge of

TR19 guidelines and BSEN 15780

. Comfort working in

plant rooms, at height, or in confined spaces

. Skilled in fault-finding, rectification, and

planned maintenance

of

VRV/VRF systems, chillers, pumps, air handling units, ventilation systems, multi/split air conditioning units, dry air coolers, and associated controls & panels

. Strong understanding of

Health & Safety legislation, Safe Systems of Work, and contingency planning

. Ability to interpret drawings, instructions, and specifications. Excellent

communication skills

and

computer literacy

. Self-motivated, proactive, and able to make decisions within clearly defined parameters.

Qualifications & Skills:

NVQ Level 2/3 in

Heating & Ventilation

(C&G 6188-30/31/32) or equivalent - Essential. Refrigeration & Air Conditioning qualification/Category I F-Gas - Desirable. Full UK driving licence - Essential. Practical experience in mechanical services, plumbing, and heating maintenance - Desirable. Confined Space, DBS, or Electrical Installation qualifications - Advantageous.
