Job Summary

We are seeking a skilled Fitter to join our team. The successful candidate will play a crucial role in the assembly of hydraulic power packs, manifold assemblies & small electrical boxes ensuring that all products meet stringent quality standards. This position requires a strong understanding of mechanical systems and the ability to work with various tools and equipment.

Responsibilities

Assembly & testing of hydraulic power units according to engineering drawings and specifications. Assembly and testing of hydraulic manifolds Setting up and and testing on a hydraulic test rig Conduct inspections of finished products to ensure compliance with quality standards. Utilise basic maths skills for measurements and calculations during build processes. Maintain a clean and safe working environment by following health and safety regulations. Collaborate with team members to improve processes and resolve any issues that arise during production. Work to a deadline in a busy environment

Requirements

Proven experience as a Fitter or in a similar role within the manufacturing or engineering sector. Strong mechanical knowledge with the ability to operate various hand tools and power tools effectively. Basic maths skills for accurate measurements and calculations are required. Ability to read and interpret technical drawings and specifications. Strong attention to detail with a commitment to producing high-quality work. Excellent problem-solving skills and the ability to work independently or as part of a team. Forklift Licence desirable
