As a Hydrometry Area Manager for Hydrology and Flooding, you will contribute to ensuring that SEPA and Scotland have the evidence needed to support robust decision making on flooding, drought and a host of other critical areas.



Your role will include:





Management and leadership of a team of 11 Hydrologists and Assistant Hydrologists


Leadership on Health and Safety for a team undertaking high risk field activities




Responsibility for over 150 Hydrometric Monitoring Stations across the South West of Scotland




Taking steps to promote a positive working culture across the team and more widely across the Unit and Function




Accountability for a non-staff budget of ~120k per annum
