We are looking for a dependable and safety-conscious Cleaner to maintain cleanliness and hygiene standards throughout our recycling facility. The ideal candidate will take pride in keeping workspaces safe, clean, and organized, contributing to efficient plant operations and a healthy work environment.
Key Responsibilities:
Clean and sanitize plant offices, staff restrooms, locker rooms, kitchens, and common areas
Ability to follow verbal and written instructions accurately.
Perform routine cleaning of production areas (non-hazardous), including sweeping, dusting, and mopping to minimize debris and dust build-up
Remove rubbish, recyclables, and waste materials from designated areas and dispose of them according to facility procedures
Refill cleaning and hygiene supplies (e.g., soap, paper towels, sanitizers)
Operate industrial cleaning equipment (e.g., floor scrubbers, vacuums) safely and efficiently
Report any equipment malfunctions, maintenance issues, or safety concerns to supervisors
Ensure adherence to all health, safety, and environmental (HSE) regulations
Support occasional deep-cleaning tasks or special projects as directed by management
Requirements:
Previous cleaning experience in an industrial or plant setting is preferred
Knowledge of cleaning products, tools, and safe handling procedures
Comfortable working in a noisy, dusty, and active industrial environment
Strong awareness of workplace safety and personal protective equipment (PPE) usage
Good time management, self-motivation, and reliabilities
Ability to use own initiative and work unsupervised
Good communication skills
Good attention to detail
Flexibility to work shifts
Due to the Night-time restrictions for young workers, we can only accept candidates over the age of 18 as this role may will involve working between 10pm to 6am.
