Hygiene Operatives - Back shift

Job type: Full time
Reporting to: Hygiene Manager
Hours of Work: 3.00pm - 12.30am and 5.00pm - 2.30am (rotated)
Main Purpose of the role:
To ensure that all Hygiene cleaning schedules are completed in accordance with the Hygiene standards.
To ensure that all planned jobs are carried out on time and in accordance with Cleaning Instruction Cards. Cleaning duties will require to be performed over all departments (including the wash bays) and, when on day shift, on online production equipment.
To work safely with detergents and disinfectants to improve cleaning performance.
Core characteristics of employment will require you to:
demonstrate high personal hygiene standards.
understand and appreciate the reasons for, and the hazards of, working with cleaning chemicals, including the basic microbiology and science behind chemicals.
be able to work independently.
be prepared to work in busy environment.
be able to inspect machines and re-clean when needed.
demonstrate attention to detail.
be able to sign off cleaning jobs according to schedule.
attend any training required.
ensure compliance with employee responsibilities for Health and Safety, as stipulated in the company's Health and Safety policy and Employment Handbook.

Pay: 12.21 per hour
