Job Overview

We're seeking a dedicated Hygiene Operative to join our friendly team in Crediton. As a key member of the Technical team, you will help maintain the site to meet high hygiene standards in critical areas, including production entrances, canteen facilities, office spaces, and the exterior of the site.

This role follows a 4-on-4-off day shift pattern with 12 hour shifts.

Hygiene Operative responsibilities include

Ensuring that external areas of the site are kept in a clean, tidy and safe manner at all times, including clearing of leaves and rubbish, keeping gutters and drain surfaces clear of debris Ensuring that office areas, meeting rooms, Canteen facilities and toilet facilities are maintained to an appropriate hygiene standard Ensuring that the Production entrance and areas leading into Production are kept clean at all time and with all hand wash facilities kept clean, functioning and supplied with hair nets etc Ensuring that recyclable materials and office waste are collected and disposed of correctly Ensuring that appropriate cleaning supplies and equipment are in place and replenishments are ordered appropriately

Hygiene Operative requirements include

Relevant hygiene experience with a good understanding of cleaning techniques relevant to a food manufacturing environment Strong communication skills, including both written and verbal Ability to work unsupervised and maintain high standards of work Ability to prioritise, manage own workload and ensure targets achieved in fast-moving environment subject to change Demonstrates a proactive approach with a high level of accuracy and commitment Ability to work within time constraints
