Hygiene Operative (Day Shift) - Tiffin Sandwiches Ltd

5 out of 7

Working Hours :

Sunday + Tuesday - Start at 6am till finish

Every other day - Start at 7am till finish

Rate of Pay:

12.30

Our company is a well-regarded national supplier of high-quality sandwiches and has been operating for over 25 years.

Due to continued growth, we are now looking for enthusiastic team players that want to join a thriving business within our Hygiene Team. We are on the hunt for people that want to work full time in a supportive fast paced environment with likeminded people. Our full-time shifts are five full days per week. We want hard working people that are looking for a role where they play a key part in ensuring the business continues to succeed by correctly and accurately creating our freshly made sandwiches for thousands of customers daily. Using state of the art technology and processes our production teams enjoy a busy environment that is both supportive and rewarding.

Duties and Responsibilities:

To work in basketwash as when required. To work in washroom as when required. To be flexible working. To replenish laundry end of day ready for next working day. To clean all offices & toilets Including new office. To clean all reception & toilet areas. To clean both new & old canteen areas. To replenish all PPE ready for next working day.
Drive a Food Safety/hygiene Culture - role modelling good behaviour and communicating the standards expected.

Be pro-active. Show a desire to improve current working practises, systems of work within the department.

Build a relationship with other departmental managers and the SLT to ensure HACCP procedures are followed. Problems are solved and all elements of food safety are maintained

Essential Skills:

Basic English - In this role you will be required to work with ingredients and quantities, following recipes and ensuing total compliance with food hygiene regulations which will require a basic understanding of English to be able to meet the role expectations.
