Hygiene Operative

What are we looking for?

You will ensure all hygiene functions on a daily basis are achieved within all areas of the Valley Park manufacturing site.

What will you be doing?

To carry out all aspects of the night shift hygiene functions within your area. To carry out and follow written hygiene procedures to ensure that high internal and customer expectations are met or exceeded. To ensure all machinery, equipment and areas are cleaned in accordance with the cleaning instructions and to the required frequency. To assist in the organisation of hygiene audits with immediate Hygiene Manager inclusive of time scaling machinery disassembly for inspection. To ensure that deep cleaning regimes within your remit (e.g. evaporators, walls and floors etc.) are maintained and met in full. To assist your immediate Hygiene Supervisor in ensuring all members of the night shift hygiene team have training relevant to the tasks they are carrying out and their position within the company hierarchy. To maintain daily issue and retrieval of hygiene tools and equipment. To ensure that under no circumstances, chemicals are hand dosed.

Food Safety Certificate Knowledge of Chemical Handling Production machinery knowledge Ability to work under pressure Flexible approach Group and site induction. Level 2 H&S awareness. Understanding of relevant risk assessments and trained as competent to safe working procedures. Understanding and application of hazard identification and near miss reporting.
