Job Description
As a Hygiene Operative, you'll play a vital role in maintaining the highest standards of cleanliness and food safety within a busy food production facility. Working as part of the hygiene team, you'll ensure that all equipment, machinery, and production areas are cleaned and sanitised in line with company and industry standards.
Key Responsibilities:
Clean production areas, machinery, and equipment following strict hygiene and safety procedures. Ensure cleaning schedules are completed fully and accurately. Safely handle cleaning chemicals and follow COSHH guidelines. Work efficiently to prepare areas for production to start on time. Report any maintenance or hygiene issues to supervisors. Maintain good housekeeping throughout the site. Follow all food safety, health & safety, and PPE requirements.
Skills & Attributes:
Reliable and punctual -- able to work Monday to Friday, 7:00 am-3:00 pm. Strong attention to detail and high standards of cleanliness. Team player with good communication skills. Previous experience in food manufacturing or hygiene roles is an advantage but not essential. Physically fit and comfortable working in a fast-paced environment. Willingness to follow procedures and training.
