Food Production Operative

Due to expansion of our range and capabilities we are happy to be on the hunt for Food Production Operatives for our manufacturing operations in Leicester.

We are also in the enviable position of working closely with customers on developing niche and high-quality food products for Foodservice, Wholesale and contract pack partners - innovating and disrupting traditional food offers for over 25 years!

Job description

We are currently looking to recruit operatives across our facility - working in a busy factory environment (Hygiene Team).

During your shift, you will be involved in assembling and packing food products with accordance to food safety and health and safety regulations, you may cover duties such as servicing or cleaning as per factory needs. Experience of working with food is desired, although full training will be given.

Job roles will vary depending on the role offered but may include the following;

- Cleaning Pots, trays, baskets

- Assist team leaders

- Clean downs

- Equipment Monitoring

- Waste Disposal

You MUST be willing to work with products that contain all different meats.

You will be hard working, able to commit when there is a need to and happy to work in a multi-cultural environment.

You will be required to work alternate weekends with days off in the week

Hygiene;

As general op but 5am - 1pm and 2pm -10pm on rotation

40hr week

Hourly rate will depend upon role offered and experience.

Pay: From 12.21 per hour
