Job Title - Hygiene Operative

Key activities - Ensuring that the factory equipment and environment are kept and maintained to a high degree of cleanliness, in accordance with the site & cleaning procedures.

Reports to Hygiene Supervisor/Hygiene Lead

Working Days - Any five days out of seven days in a week (flexible to support needs of the business)

Shift- Full time from 06:00 to 17:00 (starting and finish time may vary)

Summary of Responsibilities:

1. To have a full understanding of the COSHH requirements and chemicals in use.

2. Full understanding of Health and Safety procedures and document needs of the department.

3. To immediately report all potential hygiene and health & safety hazards and/or unsafe working practices to the Production & Technical Managers.

4. To have a full understanding of the cleaning systems, schedules, equipment and procedures throughout the factory combined.

5. To ensure all correct PPE is in good condition and worn at all times.

6. To carry out post engineering cleaning for any engineering work.

7. To ensure all areas are clean to support site visits and audits.

8. To perform other such duties as reasonably correspond to the general character of the role and are commensurate with its level of responsibility.
