Location: Nicholas & Harris, Brunel Road, Churchfields Industrial Estate, Salisbury, SP2 7PU

Shift: 4 on, 4 off - 6am until 6pm

Salary: \xc2\xa312.87 per hour (\xc2\xa316.09 Enhanced Overtime Rate)

We have an exciting opportunity to join our Hygiene team as a \'Hygiene Operative\' at our Nicholas & Harris site as part of \'Finsbury Food Group\'. Nicholas & Harris has over 180 years of heritage in craft baking methods. If you like artisanal, organic and speciality breads, or have special dietary or nutritional preferences, our Salisbury bakery has you covered!

Our Hygiene Operatives are responsible for carrying out all essential cleaning tasks throughout the Bakery, ensuring all working areas, equipment and Machinery are maintained to the highest standards in order for us to produce our quality products such as Sourdough loaves and Hot Cross Buns.

To be a success in this role, experience within a food production environment would be desirable, with a basic understanding of IT and be self-motivated to take ownership of your working day. Full training is provided to all of our Hygiene Operatives, setting them up for success. All of our applicants will be invited to a site interview which will consist of a bakery Tour, meeting the management team and completing our English Language Assessment.

This is what you\'ll actually do!

As one of our Hygiene Operatives, you will be working as part of the wider Hygiene team to ensure all working areas, equipment and machinery are maintained to a high standard, so our high quality products are ready for distribution to all of our major retail customers.

We are a 24 hour, 7 days a week operation and you will find yourself working to tight deadlines in order for the bakery to run consistently throughout each shift. You will be expected to work as part of a small team with a can-do attitude, ready to get stuck in to support colleagues when required.

Throughout your day, you will be responsible for maintaining the highest standards of cleanliness, using all correct Hygiene chemicals in line with COSHH data and training, and wearing all essential PPE provided at all times. A strong attention to detail is essential as a Hygiene Operative to ensure our products are being manufactured in the cleanest of environments.

You will be expected to comply with all company policy including Health & Safety, Security, Hygiene Standards and cleaning schedules ensuring we are consistently complaint in line with Food Safety Standards.
