We are on the lookout for a Hygiene Operative (Cleaner) to join our Manufacturing PET department. The successful applicant will need to have previous cleaning experience, ideally in a manufacturing/or industry setting.
This isn't just any cleaning job. As part of our close-knit production team, you will play a crucial role in keeping our PET area spotless, safe and running smoothly. If you're someone who is trustworthy, reliable and enjoys working independently with a positive attitude, please apply!
The main duties include:
Carrying our daily cleaning in our PET production area - walls, floors, ledges, drains, platforms, covers, conveyer frames and more.
Performing deep cleaning of production machinery not in operation as requested by the day shift manager.
Ensuring all cleaning is performed safely and recorded accurately.
Completing the weekly Hygiene schedule for cleaning in the PET department.
Being part of a proactive, empowered team committed to the highest hygiene standards.
Ensure that all company and departmental cleaning procedures and guidelines are always adhered to.
Ensure all cleaning is performed Safely and performed whilst always following the company risk assessments
Report any damage found to any item being cleaned immediately to the day shift manager or shift manager.
Confer with the shift managers, shift Supervisors and Team Leaders to coordinate safe access for cleaning activities when required.
Perform cleaning activities to a high standard and ensure all records are completed accurately and in a timely manner.
Perform any additional cleaning identified by the day shift manager to support production when Audit and Customer Visits are planned.
What we are looking for:
Previous cleaning experience (ideally in manufacturing, food production, or a similar setting).
Someone self-disciplined, with a strong sense of responsibility and pride in their work.
A positive, can-do attitude and the ability to work independently to a consistently high standard.
